Great local experience! Ahmad and his whole family are really lovely people. He has great plans and visions for the future and I wish him only the best! We learn a lot about Palestine, its history, life there... Don't be afraid to cross the border to West Bank (as we were), it's safe place with nice people and some of our best memories from the whole trip come from here! :-)

It was a great experience for me to visit and stay in this place with really warm hospitality. Especially notice and thanks for hosting me with child - it was difficult to find by B&B not expensive place where I could stay with child, all others declined my application

Our stay with Ahmad and his family overcame our already high expectations about this Aibnb! Staying in Deisha was a wonderful experience both from the point of view of the hospitality, cozyness and warmth demonstrated by all Ahmad's family and, above all, from the human point of view, that is the added value to the accommodation. Ahmad introduced us to the culture, story and soul of Palestine and its amazing people, through a delicious home made food, greats chats and a first-hand tour of Hebron, rich of details and shades of the situation of the city and of Palestine. We staying amazingly and we had a true traveling experience in Deisha. We highly recommend Ahmad's place with all our heart!

Any experience of Israel requires a reckoning with their occupation of Palestinian territories, which the best Israelis (of whom there are many) will address with thoughtful, sorrowful, and intelligent reflection — but better to see the other side of the wall for yourself. Ahmad gives you that opportunity, and as luck would have it he is one of the kindest, most generous people you could expect to meet in this world. My night and day with him and his family was both beautiful and troubling, which encapsulates this strange place in the world so well. I felt totally safe, totally welcomed, and more enlightened for my in Palestine, and I think everyone should have the same experience, ideally with Ahmad.

This is something every person has to experience, I highly recommend to stay at Ahmads place for at least one night, there is so much to see, so much to experience in this area, no words can describe the feeling of being there. Ahmad spend full day with us guiding us around. We felt very safe. No worries of driving in to the Bethlehem area with a rented car too.

Ahmad and his family are so warm and welcoming and made our stay in Bethlehem a very interesting and insightful experience. We extended our stay spontaneously for a second night because we felt so comfortable staying at the apartment and hearing more about Ahmads stories, learning more Arabic with his father and enjoying more of the wonderful food his mother prepared for us. Thanks a lot and see you soon!

Staying with Ahmad and his family was not even a highlight of the Israeli trip, but of all trips. We felt like a part of their family, they gave all their time to show us around Betlehem and the neighbourhood. I will recommend everyone to stay there and find out themselves. We stayed there one night, but when we had to leave it felt like we are leaving our family. Thank you again, Ahmad, we are coming back:)

Ahmad and his family are such a nice persons. He explained me a lot about the camp and Palestine. He shared me his story and his time. Even though mom was not in the good condition, she was kind enough to cook with me. What I saw and experienced at this pace are 100 times stateful than reading books. You should experience.

Ahmad's place is not just an accommodation it is a whole experience itself. His family and neighbours will make you feel very special. They will take care of you as if you are one of them. We had an amazing time and we have seen and felt things that we didn't see or feel before. The food that his mom cooks is super tasty, I recommend everyone to try the Musakhan, it was incredible. Also Ahmad took us to hebron and gave us an excellent time there. Thank you Ahmad and all your family for such hospitality, we miss you.

I cannot stop telling my friends about my stay with Ahmad and his family, they are truly some of the most kind and hospitable people I know. They want to make you feel comfortable in their home in a wonderful non-suffocating way which I think is so important for a home stay. Even though his mother does not speak much English, she welcomed me into her home with the warmest of smiles. Breakfast was delicious as was the dinner his grandmother insisted I eat before leaving. I swear, each time I came up for air she would smile and say, "eat, eat." Ahmad is very skilled at the organizational aspect of everything and was very willing to help me figure out what I wanted to do and see, especially as I was working around a limited student budget. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone who wants to meet some lovely people and see how the residents of the community live their daily lives.

I stayed with the family for 2 nights (and 3 days). It was wonderful! What was really special to me is that they insisted for me to eat with them, like a family member. That really meaned the world to me. I’m not used to that tipe of kindness from my house. Also Ahmad showed me around the camp, he also introduced me to some lovely people. After just thee days I feel like we have known each other for years! The place was sooo clean and I can assure you that the location is not dangerous at all. The people are sweet and open. I will come back again!! the atmosphere at the camp is really special, everyone should experience it!

It was a short stay and the overall was great. It was an opportunity to feel being in Palestine and the aspects related it, such as politics and socialones, for example. The hospitality of all the residents of the houses, especially the host, of his father and grandmother, stood out. The family atmosphere is warm and affectionate. Ahmad knows the area well, and besides being a good guide, is polite, helpful and receptive. The house is located a few minutes by taxi from downtown Bethlem and has a also a little yard with olive, apple, and other trees. Some details didn't go as expected, but nothing "significant." It was nice and I would definitely return there.

Ahmad is an incredible host. If staying in Bethlehem, I can not encourage you enough to stay with him. He was welcoming from start to finish in our visit and gave us incredible tips on Bethlehem and the West Bank. Moreover he gave us a great walkthrough of his refugee camp and the experiences of his community. If you would like to gain a great experience and memory from your stay on airbnb, stay with Ahmad! I can honestly say my brother and I made a friend out of our host. God Bless!

Ahmad is an incredible host! The room, located in Dheisha refugee camp, is clean and spacious. I spent there a night with my boyfriend and we felt like home. Ahmad and his family are really welcoming. And the food that her mum cooked was delicious! I’m sure that we are going to meet again because we feel really close to Ahmad and now we can call him a true friend. I really recommend his place to anyone interested in Palestinian culture, gastronomy and the situation in the refugee camps. شكران حببي from Joan and Natalia. We are looking forward to see you again!

Ahmad has provided not only a closer view of Plastinian life, but also that of his land. I'm so thankful for Ahmad's great local tour in Bethlehem and Hebron, and Ahmad's generosity of sharing his thoughts along the way. Ahmad's family have also given me a lovely and wonderful time while my stay. Highly recommended!

Ahmad was perfectly helpful for providing information and organize visits. His family is wonderfully welcoming. My daughter and I really had a good time with them, and fun and laughs! Don't hesitate to come to Ahmad to discover the country from within.

Fantastic experience with Ahmad and his family. I really appreciated their warm welcome, home cooked meals, comfortable room (private with nice en suite), quick communication as well as all everything they shared about their lives, the camp and Palestine. I recommend asking Ahmed to take you to Bethlehem and Hebron too - I had a great couple of days and learnt so much. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, Ahmed is a great guy, thoughtful & generous and his family are lovely. Thank you so much.

Staying in Ahmad place in the camp is the highlight of our trip in West Bank. He and his family went above and beyond to show Palestinian hospitality - we were warmly greeted by his grandma, parents and sisters. They were all very kind, warm and genuine. Also the room was spotlessly clean with yummy breakfast + dinner with home-grown olive oil. We took a stroll around the camp by ourselves at night and early in the morning and felt very safe. What makes our stay truly special though, is the tour that Ahmad brought us and the many long conversations about the situation. We visited all 3 camps in Bethelehem, the wall and the Church of Naivitity. He gave very personal accounts to people in the 3 camps. We also got to talk to people there first hand to learn from their perspectives. It's a very special experience indeed. I highly recommend to visit Ahmad's place for a real taste of Palestine!
